While we had lots of love for our old site, there were a lot of form and function issues that we weren’t really able to resolve to our satisfaction. So we finally bit the bullet (was that a bullet – or something just ‘bullet shaped?’) and have changed it up. There’re lots of changes on the back-end here so it’s more than likely that the Pink Eiga site will be undergoing changes and adjustments in the coming weeks as we iron out issues. For that we apologize in advance; but we think you’ll find it worthwhile.

It’s hard to believe, but Pink Eiga just officially turned two on January 14th!

So, you know, this primarily means that we’re running around now, trying out our new vocabulary, and asking ‘why’ a lot — but are still in our diapers, so to speak. But it’s kinda crazy to think that we’re now in our ‘terrible twos’!

If you take a peak at our STORE page, you’ll see that in the last two years we’ve released 14 titles and have printed somewhere around 32,000+ DVDs! Not bad for a ragtag group of folks, working on this endeavor for the love of it!

We would like to thank you guys for all of your support! Because if it weren’t for y’all, we’d be long gone!

Here’re TWO sneak peaks of upcoming Pink Eiga releases. The street dates will be announced soon, so keep your eyes peeled for it.

First off we have Takahisa Zeze’s insane, punk infused drama ANARCHY IN [JA]PANTY. Zeze, it should be noted, is one of two Japanese filmmakers who has a film playing at the 2011 Berlin Film Festival, with his new film HEAVEN’S STORY.

Next, we have SEXY BATTLE GIRLS director, Mototsugu Watanabe’s raunchy comedy WHORE ANGELS — which <*ahem*> features the first Pink Eiga showing of female pubic hair! ¡Ay caramba!
