Seiji Nakamitsu

Seiji Nakamitsu has had a longer Pink Eiga career than any other actor. He is among the actors who have acted in the largest number of Pink Eiga films. He sometimes goes by Makoto Sugimoto. He was born in Kumamoto, Japan, on January 16th, 1962. He acted in his first Pink Eiga in 1987, and has worked on over 300 Pink Eiga films. In addition, he is a member of an online film production company, IMT (Internet Media Theater), and has directed several short films. He also trains a lot of young actors while letting them act in his films.
He typically portrays intelligent characters but can also play insane and abnormal ones. In the “Key Hole Series” (i.e. The Secret in the Attic), he played a character that exemplifies both characteristics. On the other hand, he showed a different aspect to his acting in “A Lonely Cow Weeps at Dawn” where he played a frivolous, bad broker. He is one of the most skilled actors in the Pink Eiga world. In fact, he has received the Best Actor Award at the Pink Eiga Film Festival 4 times.
