Kyoko Hashimoto was a legendary icon of the Pink Eiga world in the 1980s. She was born in Saitama on February 15th 1964. She made her Pink Eiga debut in 1984. Since then, she has been in approximately 100 Pink Eigas. She was a representative actress of Pink Eiga in the 80’s when the business was in the doldrums because the adult video industry had grown rapidly. She was one of the most highly regarded people in the Pink Eiga industry during this turbulent period.
She starred in around 20 films per year at the peak of her career and was very popular due to her cute looks and top-notch acting skills. When she acted in her most prominent film, “Sexy Battle Girls,” she was 20 years old and regarded as being as cute as the mainstream TV idols of the day. She retired from Pink Eiga in 2003. In addition, she had fine acting skills. In fact she garnered many awards in the Zoom Up film festival and the Pink Eiga film festival. She was called “Queen of Pink Eiga.”
She married Pink Eiga director, Masahiro Kasai and bore a child; however, they were divorced in 2000.
